Anyone notice that the recycled print cartridges are really not worth it?

They leak, don't print as much before running out, gum up the printer...etc...

Apparently, the new cartridges are specially formulated and even have special vaccum paths that help the ink come out in just the right amount. They also seem to last a lot longer than refills.

Once the cartridge is "re*****d" the print cartridge vacuum paths are breached, and apparently the ink doesn't come out with the proper pressure.

Speaking of the ink, I hear that is not as good as what you get in the new cartridges.

Am I crazy for discovering this? I tried the refills for a year, and I noticed my copies would come out crooked because the ink residue would gum up the paper path and rollers, etc.

I bought a new copier last year that has the individual tanks for the colors, so if one runs out, you dont have to replace the entire thing...although...all three color tanks ran out at the same time! It's a pity the do it yourself inks don't match the quality of the ready to go inks and tanks...think that's done on purpose?

Oooh, that would be a good slo-mo shot!

I have gone through numerous DVD inserts because my printer leaves yellow dots all over the place. I also go through ink carts like crazy.
